Flight Path Institute is envisioned as a year-round New York philanthropic, cultural, and developmental institution primarily serving emerging adults ages 18–24.

It is not conceived as a conventional school.

It is a living environment in which creativity, mentorship, theatre, hospitality, work, culture, responsibility, community, accomplished professionals, and real-world participation become vehicles for development.

The future institution will include:

• creative and developmental programming
• theatre and performance
• rehearsal and production spaces
• workshops and intensives
• visiting artists
• mentorship
• public cultural programming
• salons, readings, and conversations
• hospitality and restaurant operations
• donor and patron gatherings
• real-world work experience
• adult residential opportunities when legally and operationally feasible

The building will not merely teach another way of living and working.

Participants will be able to stand inside it.
